Our story began in 1898 with the establishment of Deerfield Farmers Telephone Company, which provided the community with its first telephone lines. From these humble beginnings, we have continuously evolved to meet the growing needs of our neighbors.
As the community’s technology demands changed, we expanded our offerings beyond traditional telephone services to include cable television and Internet solutions. This evolution allowed us to better serve the community’s diverse communication needs and reinforced our role as a comprehensive telecommunications provider.
As technology advanced, we invested heavily in constructing an extensive fiber optic network across Lenawee County and western Monroe County. This commitment ensures high-speed, reliable connectivity for our community, keeping us at the forefront of telecommunications.
We also believe in giving back to our community. D & P sponsors numerous local events and supports both community initiatives and schools in the area. This commitment leads us to also provide college scholarships to students in each town where we offer services, as we invest in the future of our local youth.
